Stainless Steel 304
Stainless Steel 304 investment casting is an alloy that contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum, manganese and silicon. It has excellent resistance to corrosion in industrial water systems and steam at high temperatures. It also has good thermal conductivity and weldability.
Investment casting stainless steel 304L is a low carbon version of the more common stainless steel 304. It's most typically used for applications that require high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, such as marine fittings and fixtures.
Stainless Steel 316
Investment casting stainless steel 316 is a nickel-chromium alloy with molybdenum content. It is an austenitic stainless steel with high strength and toughness, good corrosion resistance, excellent formability and weldability.
Investment casting stainless steel 316 is an excellent choice for a wide variety of applications, such as marine, oil and gas and chemical processing. This alloy exhibits good strength, toughness and wear resistance at low temperatures.
Investment casting stainless steel 316 has good machinability and can be machined to precise tolerances. It also has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
Stainless Steel 316L
This stainless steel 316L die is perfect for making small parts that require high quality fabrication. The material is resistant to corrosion and other environmental factors, so your product will last longer than traditional dies. It can be used in any industry where quality is important, such as aerospace engineering or medical equipment manufacturing.
Stainless Steel PH17-4
Stainless steel PH17-4 is a high-strength alloy with good toughness and ductility. It has a high resistance to corrosion in most environments, particularly at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for use in marine applications such as offshore oil production platforms.
Stainless Steel 1045
Stainless steel 1045 is a type of high-alloyed tool steel. The main alloying elements are tungsten, chromium and molybdenum. It is the hardest of the common grades of stainless steel.
Investment casting stainless steel 1045 has excellent resistance to wear, abrasion and corrosion in mild environments. It also has good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C).
4140
4140 is a type of cold-casting process that uses sand as the mold material. The sand is filled with melted metal, which then cools and hardens around the mold. This process creates a solid object that can be machined or ground down into a finished product.
40CrMo
40CrMo is a new manufacturing process that involves melting and pouring precise quantities of steel into a mould. The resulting part can be virtually any shape, with accurate tolerances in thickness, surface finish and finished dimensions.
42CrMo
42CrMo is an alloy of chrome and molybdenum, in which the chromium content is 42%. The alloy has a high strength and low wear resistance.
