What is CNC Milling?
CNC milling, or computer numerical control milling, is a machining process that use computerised controls and rotating multi-point cutting tools to remove material from a workpiece in order to create a custom-designed part or product.
Our CNC Milling Service Capabilities
CNC milling is the ideal method for creating high-quality, complicated geometric pieces for prototypes and production parts.
● The rotating tool can translate relative to the part on X, Y, and Z axes
● The tool is fixed in a vertical or horizontal (depending on the machine) position
● With modern CNC mills, the tool can move in any combination of the 3 axes simultaneously
● The most common operations on a 3-axis CNC are milling and turning.
● Capable of the same motions as 3-axes, with the added of rotation on the X and Y axes.
● Typically, the bed rather than the toolhead rotates.
● The additional rotation permits considerably greater freedom.
● 5-axes is superior for manufacturing complicated geometries with much greater efficiency.

CNC Milling and CNC Machining Process
The CNC milling process utilizes computerized controls to operate and manipulate machine tools which cut and shape stock material. CNC mills excel at profile cutting harder materials. it can still be used for profile cutting of softer materials as well.
The process of CNC machining process including:
● Designing a CAD model
● Converting the CAD model into a CNC program
● Setting up the CNC milling machine
● Executing the milling operation
